The 2nd batch of our phytoplankton micrographs got copyrighted by IPOPHL. The micrographs were now deposited in the National Library of the Philippines.

16th National Symposium of Marine Science. Ma’am Ning presented their work on bloom dynamics of Pseudo-nitzschia in Samar at the 16th National Symposium of Marine Science (PAMS 16) virtual conference.

The first batch of copyright for the phytoplankton micrograph is now available in our database.

A collaborative research work entitled “Profiling of Phytoplankton and Harmful Microalgae in Eastern Visayas, Philippines”, by University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College (UPVTC) and Samar State University (SSU), was awarded as Best Scientific Poster in Agricultural Sciences Division during the 43rd National Academy of Science and Technology Annual Scientific Meeting (43rd NAST-ASM) held virtually last July 12-15, 2021.

Sir Ruel presented their work on dinoflagellate cyst distribution in the surface sediments of Villareal Bay, Samar, Philippines at the ICFAS 6 virtual conference.

The results from the Year-1 output of the project are now published in Frontiers in Marine Science, Marine Ecosystem Ecology. Congratulations and great work, team!
